Bitcoin Miners for Uzbekistan

What an Uzbek buyer of Bitcoin mining hardware needs to plan for: the 220/380 V supply, cooling through summers that often pass 40 °C, customs and VAT, and the permit regime that ties mining to solar power.

Voltage and electrical supply in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan's mains supply is 220 V single-phase and 380 V three-phase at 50 Hz, according to the mains electricity table that draws on IEC data. Sockets are Type C, E and F. A Type F (Schuko) socket is rated 16 A, and a Type C Europlug only 2.5 A. At 220 V a large air-cooled miner drawing 3–3.6 kW takes roughly 14–16.5 A, which can exceed a 16 A socket's rating, so each machine needs a dedicated 16 A or 32 A circuit or an industrial socket on a properly sized distribution board.

Air-cooled miners with a 200–240 V input run from a single phase at 220 V, and on a three-phase supply they can be spread evenly across the phases. Hydro-cooled miners built for 380–415 V three-phase connect line to line on the 380 V supply, at the bottom of their input range.

The mining permit regulation requires mining to use electricity from solar photovoltaic stations, and a site must be able to connect to the automated metering and control system. Where a miner is connected to the national grid, consumption is metered separately and billed at twice the standard tariff, plus surcharges set by the Cabinet of Ministers. Confirm the connection with the grid company and have a licensed electrician design the installation.

Cooling for the Uzbek climate

Uzbekistan's climate is classed as cold desert (Köppen BWk) or cold steppe (BSk), with hot summers and cool winters. Summer temperatures often pass 40 °C, and little rain falls between June and September. Winter averages are between −1 °C and −3 °C, but temperatures may fall as low as −40 °C. Most of the country is arid, with 100–200 mm of rain a year, and salt and dust storms blow from the dried bed of the Aral Sea.

For air-cooled miners, a 40 °C summer intake can sit at or near the maximum intake temperature in a miner's datasheet, so check the model's limits and plan for shading, generous airflow and no recirculation of hot exhaust in summer. Dust filtration needs planning year-round. In cold snaps, temper the intake with a share of warm exhaust. No documented heat-reuse project in Uzbekistan was found.

Bitcoin mining in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan's permit regime is new. As of October 2026, NAPP's electronic registry of mining permits listed two permits: the first issued on 19 January 2026 and the second on 28 September 2026. No dated hashrate-share study covering Uzbekistan was found.

The grid remains mostly fossil-fuelled. Ember reports that 19% of Uzbekistan's electricity came from low-carbon sources in 2025, with solar and wind supplying 12%. Because the permit rules require mining to run on electricity from solar photovoltaic stations, new mining capacity is tied to solar generation rather than to the existing grid mix.

Rules for mining in Uzbekistan

Mining is legal for permitted companies only. The National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP) states that mining may be carried out only by a legal entity using electricity generated by solar photovoltaic stations, and that miners must register with the Agency, online only, and operate at the registered address. Its mining page cites Presidential Resolution PQ-3832 of 3 July 2018 as the basis.

The regulation on mining permits, registered on 29 September 2023 (No. 3461), defines a miner as a legal entity holding a permit. Permits are issued for five years and may not be passed to another legal entity, and no fee is charged to review an application. A miner connected to the national grid pays twice the standard tariff, plus surcharges set by the Cabinet of Ministers, and must use a separate meter.

How purchasing works

Orders are handled the same way for every destination and scale with quantity:

  • 1–4 units: online checkout on products that show a price and a confirmed availability status.
  • 5–19 units: checkout or a volume quote.
  • 20 units and above: a wholesale quotation covering unit price, batch, freight and delivery terms.
  • 100 units and above, or a full site: handled by mining sales as a procurement project.

Where a product shows "Availability on request" or "Available", stock is not held in a warehouse; lead time is confirmed on your quotation.

Shipping to Uzbekistan

Standard shipping to Uzbekistan is free on every order. If you need it faster, choose express shipping at checkout and we quote it before payment is requested.

Importing into Uzbekistan

Customs clearance is handled by the Customs Committee. According to the U.S. Commercial Service, the importer must give the customs authorities a customs cargo declaration and the transport documents, and only legal entities registered in Uzbekistan may engage in foreign economic activity.

The cost of imports includes value added tax, which was reduced from 15% to 12% from 2023. Import tariffs are set by Presidential Resolution PP-3818 (2018, updated 2025), and the duty on a given product depends on its classification and origin.

The customs declaration matters beyond the border. An application for a mining permit must include a copy of the customs cargo declaration, or another document proving ownership of the mining equipment, along with the number of machines and their rated power consumption. No official classification ruling or import certification requirement specific to mining machines was found.

Infrastructure for larger deployments

Beyond a few machines, the miners are one line of the bill of materials. Transformers, switchgear, PDUs, racking, cooling and containers are specified around the miner model and the site's supply voltage, and can be quoted as one procurement scope.
