About FutureBit

FutureBit LLC is based in Brooklyn, New York, where it says its products are designed. Its machines pair a Bitcoin miner with a computer that can run a full Bitcoin node, so an owner can solo or lottery mine to their own node, or point other miners at it as a personal solo server. FutureBit says the Apollo III uses brand-new, American-designed 3 nm ASICs.

FutureBit product lines

• Apollo BTC: the original Apollo miner
• Apollo II: a 5 nm ASIC miner that FutureBit rates at up to 10 TH/s, quoting efficiency as low as 28 W/TH; it has an integrated 450 W power supply. It came as a Full Node version with an ARM computer and up to 2 TB of NVMe storage, a Standard version that pairs with a Windows or Linux PC, a Raspberry Pi or an original Apollo, and a Founders Edition limited to fewer than 1,000 units.
• Apollo III: rated up to 18 TH/s in a 5-inch cube, with efficiency quoted down to 13 W/TH and a power range of 50 to 400 W. The Full Node version adds a custom controller with an 8-core ARM CPU, 8 GB of RAM and two NVMe SSD bays; the Standard version is the miner alone, with an ARM controller and Apollo OS built in.
• Solo Node: a Bitcoin full node and solo server

Buying FutureBit miners

Each FutureBit listing shows the specifications recorded for that model. Where FutureBit lists a model in several hashrate versions, each version has its own page because power draw and price differ.
