Thailand's low-voltage supply is 230/400 V at 50 Hz: 230 V between a line and neutral, 400 V between lines on a three-phase connection.

The most common sockets are hybrids that accept American Type A and B plugs, Type C Europlugs and the Thai Type O plug of TIS 166-2549. Type O is rated 16 A. Types A and B are rated 15 A at 125 V, so at 230 V they are outside their voltage rating. Belgian/French and Schuko plugs (E, F) fit but make no earth contact, and appliances with those plugs may no longer be sold. A large air-cooled miner drawing 3–3.6 kW takes roughly 13–16 A at 230 V, continuously, close to or above a 16 A rating. Give each machine its own circuit sized for continuous load, with an industrial socket or a hard-wired connection.

Air-cooled miners with a 200–240 V input run line-to-neutral at 230 V; with several machines, spread them evenly across the three phases. Hydro-cooled models specified for 380–415 V three-phase connect directly to a 400 V three-phase supply. Check the input range on each product page. Confirm the connected load and phase with your electricity authority and have a licensed electrician do the installation.

Most of Thailand has a tropical savanna climate (Köppen Aw), with a tropical monsoon climate in most of the south and the far east. The year has three seasons. Summer runs from mid-February to mid-May; in the hottest months, March to May, temperatures in the north, northeast, centre and east usually reach 30 °C or more, with sea breezes moderating the coasts. The rainy southwest monsoon follows from mid-May to mid-October, and the northeast monsoon from mid-October to mid-February brings cold, dry air from China over most of the country.

Plan intake airflow for the hot season, and compare each model's published operating range with local peaks. In the rainy season keep water out of intakes and avoid condensation. The south has mild weather year-round but abundant rain in both monsoons.

Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission said in November 2022 that crypto mining is not a business regulated under the Emergency Decree on Digital Asset Businesses B.E. 2561 (2018), while warning the public about schemes selling or renting mining equipment or hash power. A mining operator that also offers digital tokens or digital-asset trading or exchange services needs a licence under the decree first.

On tax, the director of the Revenue Department's legal division explained in January 2022 that mined coins become income only when sold, and that a mining business's income falls under Section 40(8) of the Revenue Code, taxed on revenue less actual expenses.

In February 2025 the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) thanked the Department of Special Investigation for joint operations against illegal electricity use for crypto mining in PEA's service areas.

Orders are handled the same way for every destination and scale with quantity:

• 1–4 units: online checkout on products that show a price and a confirmed availability status.

Imports are cleared by the Customs Department. VAT, administered by the Revenue Department, is collected by the Customs Department at the time goods are imported. Every importer is subject to VAT, whether or not it is VAT-registered. The Revenue Code rate is 10%, but royal decrees have cut it to 6.3% plus a local-government share of one-ninth, 7% in all. Royal Decree No. 807, published in the Royal Gazette on 23 August 2026, keeps the 7% rate on imports, goods and services from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027. VAT on imports is charged on the CIF price plus import duty, any excise tax and other taxes and fees.

Businesses that want to carry out customs formalities, including electronic customs procedures, must first register with the Customs Department. Registration can be done at a customs registration office, through the Customs Trader Portal or online. Import duty depends on the machine's tariff classification and origin.

Beyond a few machines, the miners are one line of the bill of materials. Transformers, switchgear, PDUs, racking, cooling and containers are specified around the miner model and the site's supply voltage, and can be quoted as one procurement scope.
