ASIC Miners for the UAE

Bitcoin mining hardware for operators in the UAE and for buyers consolidating shipments in the region, on 230/400 V 50 Hz supply.

Voltage and electrical supply in United Arab Emirates

The UAE's nominal low-voltage supply is 230/400 V at 50 Hz. Air-cooled miners with a 200–240 V or 220–277 V single-phase input connect line-to-neutral at 230 V. Hydro-cooled models specified for 380–415 V three-phase match a 400 V supply directly.

Miner power supplies are generally specified for both 50 Hz and 60 Hz; where the manufacturer publishes a frequency range it is shown on the product page.

Cooling for the UAE climate

The UAE has a hot desert climate with very high summer air temperatures and airborne dust. Air-cooled miners have a published maximum intake temperature, shown on each product page, that summer outdoor air will exceed, so air-cooled sites need cooled or evaporatively conditioned intake air and good filtration.

This is why hydro and immersion cooling are common choices in the Gulf: heat is carried away in liquid and rejected through dry coolers sized for the peak ambient temperature, and the electronics are isolated from dust. Size heat rejection for the hottest design day, not the average.

Bitcoin mining in United Arab Emirates

The UAE is a major host of Bitcoin mining. Hashrate Index estimated its share of global hashrate at 3.1% (about 33 EH/s) in January 2026. Its Q4 2026 heatmap, published 5 October 2026, put the UAE at 2.8% (about 26 EH/s), sixth in the world and down 21% year on year, as some capacity moved to AI and high-performance computing. Hashrate Index describes the UAE as a capital-backed mining jurisdiction supported by government involvement, notes that Abu Dhabi runs on gas, solar and nuclear-backed supply, and says extreme heat calls for advanced cooling such as immersion.

CoinDesk reported in February 2026 that mining operations linked to the ruling family, including Citadel Mining (built in 2022 on Al Reem Island and linked through International Holding Company), were producing about 4 BTC a day. In 2023 Marathon Digital partnered with Abu Dhabi-based Zero Two on a 250 MW project.

Rules for mining in United Arab Emirates

In September 2025 the UAE enacted Federal Decree Law No. 6 of 2025, made public in November 2025. It brings virtual assets, stablecoins, exchanges, wallets and supporting blockchain infrastructure under the oversight of the Central Bank of the UAE, and requires organisations doing crypto or blockchain business in or from the UAE to be licensed by the Central Bank. Check with the Central Bank whether a mining operation needs a licence under it.

In October 2025 the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority reaffirmed a ban on cryptocurrency mining on farms in the emirate, saying it conflicts with the intended use of farmland. Penalties include fines that double for repeat offences, power cut-off and confiscation of equipment.

How purchasing works

Orders are handled the same way for every destination and scale with quantity:

  • 1–4 units: online checkout on products that show a price and a confirmed availability status.
  • 5–19 units: checkout or a volume quote.
  • 20 units and above: a wholesale quotation covering unit price, batch, freight and delivery terms.
  • 100 units and above, or a full site: handled by mining sales as a procurement project.

Where a product shows "Availability on request" or "Available", stock is not held in a warehouse; lead time is confirmed on your quotation.

Importing into United Arab Emirates

Customs in the UAE is overseen federally by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security and administered at the border by each emirate's customs body: Abu Dhabi Customs, Dubai Customs, Sharjah Customs, Ajman's Department of Ports and Customs, Ras Al Khaimah Customs and the Port of Fujairah. Goods are classified under the Harmonized System, with national or GCC extensions to the six-digit codes.

VAT has applied since 1 January 2018 at 5% and is administered by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). A UAE business must register for VAT once its taxable supplies and imports exceed the mandatory registration threshold, and the FTA publishes guidance on the VAT treatment of imported goods. Customs duties depend on the goods' classification and origin. Confirm with the importer of record and the relevant customs authority whether any approvals apply before goods ship.

Infrastructure for larger deployments

Beyond a few machines, the miners are one line of the bill of materials. Transformers, switchgear, PDUs, racking, cooling and containers are specified around the miner model and the site's supply voltage, and can be quoted as one procurement scope.
