Used Equipment Grading
Every used or refurbished listing states a condition grade and, where recorded, the tested hashrate, visual condition, repair history, power-supply status, warranty status and the test procedure used. Photographs on a used listing are of the actual lot when marked as such; manufacturer imagery is never used to represent a specific used unit.
Grades
New — Unused, in manufacturer packaging, with the manufacturer's warranty for the model.
Certified Refurbished — Previously used, serviced and tested before sale. The listing states the tested hashrate.
Used — Grade A — Working used equipment in the better cosmetic and performance band: hashing at or close to its rating, with light cosmetic wear.
Used — Grade B — Working used equipment with more wear or a lower tested hashrate; it may include repaired boards.
For Parts / Repair — Not guaranteed to operate. Sold for spares or repair, with any known fault stated on the listing.
How units are tested
Each lot's listing states how it was tested: the length of the hashing test, what was measured (average hashrate, board temperatures, hardware error rate, fan speeds) and whether the test report is supplied with the units.
What "tested hashrate" means
The tested hashrate on a listing is the average measured during that test. It can differ from the manufacturer's rating for the model, and a machine's hashrate at your site depends on your ambient temperature and power quality.
