Market · 240/415 V, 50 Hz
Kenya's nominal low-voltage supply is 240/415 V at 50 Hz: 240 V single-phase and 415 V three-phase line-to-line. Sockets are the British type G (BS 1363), rated 13 A. A miner drawing 3–3.6 kW takes about 12.5–15 A at 240 V, at or beyond that rating and continuously, so a 13 A socket is not enough. Give each miner a dedicated 16 A or 32 A circuit with an industrial socket or a hard-wired PDU.
Air-cooled miners with a 200–240 V or 220–277 V input run line-to-neutral on the 240 V phase of a three-phase supply. Hydro-cooled miners specified for 380–415 V three-phase connect at 415 V, the upper end of that range, so check the actual voltage at the connection point: a supply running above nominal can exceed a miner's maximum input voltage.
Electrical work is licensed in Kenya: the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) issues licences to electrical workers and electrical contractors. Have the installation done by a licensed contractor, and agree the connection and capacity with the utility before buying.
| Supply | Connection | Listed miners that accept it |

The Kenya Meteorological Department's State of the Climate report for 2025 describes extreme heat in January and February, cold extremes from June to August, and heavy rain during the long rains (March–May) and the short rains (October–December). In 2025 the highest maximum temperatures were 41.1 °C at Wajir in February and 39.8 °C at Lodwar in January, and the lowest minimum was 4.0 °C at Nyahururu in July. The Kenyan embassy in Washington describes the coast as hot and humid, the highlands as milder, and much of the north and east as arid or semi-arid.
For air cooling, sites in the hot north and east need intake air kept below the miner's published maximum intake temperature, with filtration against dust. On the coast the concern is humidity and condensation on the hashboards. Highland sites are mild for most of the year but must keep rain out of the airflow in both rainy seasons.

Kenya is not among the ten countries listed in Hashrate Index's Q4 2026 heatmap, published 5 October 2026.
Mining in Kenya has grown around renewable power that would otherwise go unused. CNBC reported in April 2024 that Gridless, a Kenyan company backed by Block, runs a 500 kW mobile mining container at Hell's Gate on the edge of Lake Naivasha, powered by solar and by stranded energy from a nearby geothermal site, and that one of its rural pilot sites draws on a small hydro plant. The same report put Gridless at six mines across Kenya, Malawi and Zambia. The May 2024 agreement with Marathon Digital (see Regulation) was aimed at using surplus renewable generation.
Kenya's Virtual Asset Service Providers Act, 2025 received assent on 15 October 2025 and came into force on 4 November 2025. It licenses businesses such as virtual asset wallet providers, exchanges, brokers, payment processors and token issuers, supervised by the Central Bank of Kenya and the Capital Markets Authority. Mining is not among the activities listed in the Act's First Schedule.
In May 2024 the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum signed an agreement with the American Bitcoin miner Marathon Digital that set up a joint steering committee and a framework for green data centres using surplus renewable power.

Orders are handled the same way for every destination and scale with quantity:
Where a product shows "Availability on request" or "Available", stock is not held in a warehouse; lead time is confirmed on your quotation.
Standard shipping to Kenya is free on every order. If you need it faster, choose express shipping at checkout and we quote it before payment is requested.
Customs in Kenya is run by the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), which levies duties and taxes on imported goods before releasing them. VAT is charged at the standard rate of 16% and is paid by the importer. KRA says importing machinery requires a customs clearing agent, working from the import declaration form (IDF), the customs entry and the commercial invoices. Since 1 October 2025 every consignment must carry a certificate of origin issued by a competent authority in the exporting country.
For products regulated by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), customs clearance needs a Certificate of Conformity issued in the exporting country by a Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) agent; goods not verified before shipment are inspected by KEBS on arrival. Customs duties depend on the goods' classification and origin.
Beyond a few machines, the miners are one line of the bill of materials. Transformers, switchgear, PDUs, racking, cooling and containers are specified around the miner model and the site's supply voltage, and can be quoted as one procurement scope.
