Miner comparison
Antminer S21 Pro 234T vs Antminer S21 XP
Both are air-cooled Bitmain Antminer models for SHA-256 (Bitcoin) mining, in the same size class (about 450 × 219 × 293 mm), on the same 220–277 V AC supply drawing up to 20 A, and both rated at 76 dBA.
The difference is efficiency. Bitmain rates the S21 XP at 270 TH/s on 3,645 W (13.5 J/TH) and the S21 Pro at 234 TH/s on 3,510 W (15 J/TH). The XP gives about 15% more hashrate for about 4% more power, so each terahash takes 10% less electricity. At full load the S21 XP uses 87.5 kWh a day and the S21 Pro 84.2 kWh.
Which one returns its cost sooner depends on your electricity price and on the price difference between the two: the table below and the calculator work it out with current network data.
Figures: Bitmain's S21 Pro and S21 XP specification pages, checked 7 October 2026. They are typical values; Bitmain states the hashrate varies by ±3%.

Green marks the better value in a row (higher hashrate; lower power, J/TH, noise, weight, price and electricity cost). Specifications are as recorded for each product; “—” means the value is not stated. Economics are estimates at network conditions of 2026-10-28, $0.06/kWh, 2% pool fee and 100% uptime, and are not a forecast of earnings.
