Miner comparison

Antminer S23 vs SEALMINER A4 Pro Air

The SEALMINER A4 Pro Air is rated at 336 TH/s, 10% more than the Antminer S23 at 305 TH/s. The SEALMINER A4 Pro Air is the more efficient at 10.9 J/TH against 11 J/TH, so it uses 1% less electricity per terahash.

Both are air-cooled machines for SHA-256 (Bitcoin) mining, specified for a 220–277 V AC supply and rated at 25 °C. Bitmain rates the Antminer S23 at 305 TH/s on 3,355 W (11 J/TH); Bitdeer rates the SEALMINER A4 Pro Air at 336 TH/s on 3,662.4 W (10.9 J/TH). The A4 Pro Air gives about 10% more hashrate for about 9% more power, so the two are within 1% of each other on energy per terahash. The S23 draws up to 20 A, the A4 Pro Air up to 27 A. The Bitdeer unit is about the same height (292 against 293 mm) but 85 mm shorter in its longest side and 5.1 kg lighter (15.5 against 20.6 kg net). Bitmain rates the S23 at 76 dBA; Bitdeer publishes no noise figure. The table below and the calculator work out what these figures mean with current network data.
