Miner comparison
WhatsMiner M60S++ 218T vs Antminer S21+
Both are air-cooled Bitcoin miners with almost the same hashrate. MicroBT lists the WhatsMiner M60S++ at 218 TH/s on 3,379 W (15.5 J/TH); Bitmain rates the Antminer S21+ at 216 TH/s on 3,564 W (16.5 J/TH), both efficiency ratings at 25 °C. The M60S++ gives about 1% more hashrate on about 5% less power, so each terahash takes about 6% less electricity. The M60S++ power supply is specified for 220–240 V AC; the S21+ accepts 220–277 V AC at up to 20 A. The M60S++ is the smaller unit, 430 × 155 × 226 mm against 450 × 219 × 293 mm. Operating ranges are -5 to 35 °C for the M60S++ and -20 to 45 °C for the S21+. Bitmain rates the S21+ at 76 dBA; MicroBT publishes no noise figure. MicroBT's datasheet gives the M60S++ as 200–226 TH/s and 3,230–3,570 W. The table below and the calculator work out what these figures mean with current network data.
