Njord Cloudline

An adapter board made by Pivotal Pleb Tech that lets an air-cooled Bitmain miner regulate how fast an AC Infinity Cloudline inline fan runs, using the miner's own temperature-control logic. Used together with an AC Infinity fan fitted to the miner through a shroud, it aims to cut fan noise and fan power use while holding miner temperatures steady, which suits home setups.

The board plugs into the fan connectors on the miner's control board, and the AC Infinity fan's USB-C cable plugs into the board. If the fan loses power, the board signals the control board and the miner stops with a fan error.

Compatibility

• Tested by the maker on Bitmain T17, T17+, S17, S17+, S19, S19 Pro, S19j Pro, L7 and KA3
• Designed for miners that use 4-pin PWM fan control with four identical in-line fan ports
• Bitmain Amlogic and BeagleBone Black control boards
• Braiins control boards and Antminer S9: only with four fan extension cables
• Fans: AC Infinity Cloudline, any 8-inch model, with a USB-C connector (fans without USB-C need AC Infinity's USB-C adapter)

Notes

• The AC Infinity fan is attached to the miner with a fan shroud, which is not part of the board.
• To run several fans from one board, use AC Infinity's UIS splitter; a standard USB-C splitter will damage the board.
• The board-only version, without an adapter cable kit, is stated to work with S19 models only, not the S19k Pro.
• Not intended for immersion-cooled miners.
