Loki Kit

A small interface kit from Pivotal Pleb Tech that lets Bitmain X19-series miners mine while powered by a third-party DC supply of suitable rating, rather than the original Bitmain power supply. Its main use is building a "Loki rig": a modified miner that runs from a standard 120 V household outlet.

Building a Loki rig is a do-it-yourself job. The kit alone is not enough: the build also needs a 120 V-capable power supply, one or more X19 hashboards, a control board, a case and cooling. The maker names the Bitmain APW3++ and APW7 as candidate supplies for 120 V operation.

Notes

• The kit comes in three variants. The right one depends on the miner's firmware, control board type and hashboard type; check the Loki Kit User Manual and the maker's "Loki Bingo" configuration card before choosing.
• On a standard 120 V outlet, keep the rig's power draw low enough not to overload the circuit breaker; the user manual gives details.
