Description
A clip-on active cooling kit for GekkoScience USB miners: a low-profile 3D-printed shroud that fits over the miner's heatsink and carries a small USB-powered fan. It also fits other devices that use a 40 x 25 x 12 mm heatsink.
The shroud fits over the heatsink and latches to the circuit board while staying clear of all components; it needs no cable ties, screws or glue and holds in place even with the miner standing upright. A built-in stop keeps it from sliding down or off, and fluted side fins grip the heatsink without blocking heat dissipation. Shroud and fan together are 38 mm thick, leaving room for neighboring miners on a USB hub.
