MicroBT's own shop files two models under its "M70 Series" filter. The M70S is air-cooled and rated at 248 TH/s and 13.5 J/TH. The M73 is hydro-cooled and rated at 512 TH/s and 14.5 J/TH. At the launch MicroBT gave the series' efficiencies as 14.5, 13.5 and 12.5 J/T; the two models listed here carry the 13.5 and 14.5 J/T ratings.
The M73 delivers about 2.1 times the hashrate of the M70S (512 against 248 TH/s), while each terahash takes about 7% more energy (14.5 against 13.5 J/TH). Compared with the M60S++ (15.5 J/TH) from the M60 series, the M70S uses about 13% less energy per terahash.
MicroBT announced the launch event in October 2025 and launched the M70 series in Abu Dhabi on 8 December 2025 at an event themed "Green-Driven, Ecosystem Redefined", where founder and CEO Dr. Yang Zuoxing presented it in his keynote.
Models in one generation share a chip platform but differ in cooling type, hashrate and efficiency. Start with the cooling type your site supports, then compare efficiency and power draw between the versions listed above. Use the compare checkboxes to put two to four models side by side.
