Reading hashrate ratings

The rated hashrate is the nominal figure stated for the model. A tolerance is often published alongside it, shown on the product page where it is stated, so individual machines can run slightly above or below the rating.

A higher hashrate per unit is not automatically better. What matters commercially is efficiency (J/TH), which sets the electricity cost for a given amount of hashrate, and price per TH/s, which sets the capital cost. Two smaller machines at the same efficiency cost the same to run as one large one; the difference is space, handling and cooling design.

Sort by efficiency to see which models in this range use the least energy per terahash.
