Miner comparison
Antminer S23 Hyd. vs WhatsMiner M73 512T
Both are hydro-cooled Bitcoin miners. Bitmain rates the Antminer S23 Hyd. at 580 TH/s on 5,510 W (9.5 J/TH, at 35 °C inlet coolant); MicroBT lists the WhatsMiner M73 at 512 TH/s on 7,424 W (14.5 J/TH). The S23 Hyd. gives about 13% more hashrate on about 26% less power, so each terahash takes about 34% less electricity. MicroBT's datasheet gives the M73 as 470–526 TH/s and 7,200 W ±10% in normal mode, or 10 kW in a high-performance mode. The S23 Hyd. takes three-phase 380–415 V at up to 12 A and coolant at 20–50 °C, 8.0–10.0 L/min; the M73 takes 380–480 V AC and coolant at 25–55 °C in normal mode, at least 10 L/min. The formats differ: the S23 Hyd. measures 410 × 170 × 209 mm, the M73 86 × 483 × 663 mm with handle. The table below and the calculator work out what these figures mean with current network data.

Green marks the better value in a row (higher hashrate; lower power, J/TH, noise, weight, price and electricity cost). Specifications are as recorded for each product; “—” means the value is not stated. Economics are estimates at network conditions of 2026-10-28, $0.06/kWh, 2% pool fee and 100% uptime, and are not a forecast of earnings.
