Miner comparison
WhatsMiner M63S++ 464T vs Antminer S21 XP Hyd.
Both are hydro-cooled Bitcoin miners with almost the same hashrate. MicroBT lists the WhatsMiner M63S++ at 464 TH/s on 7,192 W (15.5 J/TH); Bitmain rates the Antminer S21 XP Hyd. at 473 TH/s on 5,676 W (12 J/TH, at 35 °C inlet coolant). The S21 XP Hyd. gives about 2% more hashrate on about 21% less power, so each terahash takes about 23% less electricity. The M63S++ power supply takes 380–480 V AC with a 10 kW input; the S21 XP Hyd. takes three-phase 380–415 V at up to 12 A. The formats differ: the M63S++ is a flat 86 × 483 × 663 mm unit with handle, weighing 29.5 kg net and needing about 1 L of coolant, while the S21 XP Hyd. measures 339 × 173 × 207 mm and weighs 13.8 kg. Neither specification page gives a noise figure. The table below and the calculator work out what these figures mean with current network data.

Green marks the better value in a row (higher hashrate; lower power, J/TH, noise, weight, price and electricity cost). Specifications are as recorded for each product; “—” means the value is not stated. Economics are estimates at network conditions of 2026-10-28, $0.06/kWh, 2% pool fee and 100% uptime, and are not a forecast of earnings.
