What the generation covers

Bitmain rates the air-cooled S19 Pro, S19j Pro, S19j Pro+, S19 Pro++, S19k Pro, S19 XP and S19j XP from 84 TH/s (S19j Pro 84T) to 151 TH/s (S19j XP), at 21.5 to 30.5 J/TH; the published tables for all but the S19j XP list a 200–240 V AC input. The hydro-cooled S19 Hydro, S19 Pro+ Hyd., S19e XP Hyd., S19 XP Hyd. and S19 XP+ Hyd. run from 132 to 279 TH/s at 19 to 34.5 J/TH, on 342–418 V (S19 Hydro, S19 Pro+ Hyd.) or 380–415 V (S19e XP Hyd.).

How the versions differ

Most models keep one efficiency rating across their hashrate grades: 29.5 J/TH for every S19j Pro grade from 84 to 104 TH/s, 27.5 J/TH for the S19j Pro+ and 26 J/TH for the S19 Pro++. The S19 Pro is the exception (29.5 J/TH at 110 TH/s, 30.5 J/TH at 105 TH/s). Ratings fall to 23 J/TH for the S19k Pro, 21.5 J/TH for the S19 XP and S19j XP, 20.8 J/TH for the S19 XP Hyd. and 19 J/TH for the S19 XP+ Hyd., the lowest among the models listed.

Announcement

Bitmain announced the S19 and S19 Pro on 27 February 2020 and released the S19e XP Hyd. on 23 May 2024.

Choosing within the Antminer S19 generation

Models in one generation share a chip platform but differ in cooling type, hashrate and efficiency. Start with the cooling type your site supports, then compare efficiency and power draw between the versions listed above. Use the compare checkboxes to put two to four models side by side.
