How to choose a Bitcoin miner

Three numbers decide most purchases, and all three are on every card above.

Efficiency (J/TH) is the energy used per unit of hashrate. It sets your electricity cost per bitcoin mined and matters more the higher your power price. A machine at 15 J/TH uses 50% more energy than one at 10 J/TH to do the same work.

Hashrate (TH/s) is how much work the machine does. It determines how many units you need for a target capacity, and therefore rack space, network ports and handling.

Power (W) and input voltage determine what your site must supply. Most industrial miners need 200–240 V or three-phase 380–415 V supply; very few run on a 110–120 V household circuit. Check the electrical specification on the product page against your site before ordering.

Then match the cooling type to your facility. Air-cooled miners need airflow and tolerate noise; hydro-cooled miners need a liquid loop and heat rejection equipment; immersion units need tanks and dielectric fluid.

Buying one unit or several hundred

Orders are handled by quantity. Small quantities go through checkout when the product shows a price and a confirmed availability status. From the wholesale threshold upward, pricing is quoted per order because batch, freight and payment terms change the number. An availability status of "Available to Source" means the unit is procured to order and is not held in a warehouse.
