ACS (ANTCOLDSTORAGE)

The ACS (ANTCOLDSTORAGE) is Bitmain's cold-storage unit for ANTSPACE hydro-cooling containers, built into one 40 ft HQ container. It stores cooling in a 48 m³ water tank (8 GJ capacity); Bitmain gives a typical cooling supply time of 6 h while ambient temperature runs 45 → 50 → 45 °C.

Notes

• Ground must be level to within 1° and carry at least 70 t.
• Lift with a crane of 25 t or more, tank empty, from the four lower lifting points only.
• Leave 5 m of air intake and exhaust space; above 1,000 m, reduce total power by 1% per 100 m.
• Below freezing, use ethylene glycol antifreeze as the storage medium.
• Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician to local code.
