Bitmain Antminer L11 Series

The Antminer L11 is Bitmain's Scrypt miner for LTC, DOGE and other Scrypt coins, published as the air-cooled L11 and two hydro-cooled versions, the L11 HU2 and L11 HU6, at 165 to 184 J/GH.

What the family covers

Bitmain's shop lists three L11 models, all for Scrypt coins (Bitmain names LTC, DOGE, BEL, JKC, LKY and PEP). The air-cooled L11 is rated at 20 GH/s on 3,680 W, or 184 J/GH at 25 °C inlet air. It runs on single-phase 220–277 V AC, measures 468 × 219 × 293 mm, weighs 19.2 kg net and is rated at 76 dBA. The L11 HU2 is rated at 35 GH/s on 5,775 W (165 J/GH) and the L11 HU6 at 33 GH/s on 5,676 W (172 J/GH), both at a 35 °C coolant inlet temperature and both on three-phase 380–480 V. Bitmain gives the HU2 a 698 × 483 × 87 mm chassis weighing 25.7 kg.

How the versions differ

The HU2 has the lowest J/GH of the three. Against the air-cooled L11 it gives 75% more hashrate (35 vs 20 GH/s) for about 57% more power (5,775 vs 3,680 W), so each gigahash takes about 10% less energy. The HU6 sits between them at 172 J/GH, about 6.5% less energy per gigahash than the L11.

Choosing within the Antminer L11 generation

Models in one generation share a chip platform but differ in cooling type, hashrate and efficiency. Start with the cooling type your site supports, then compare efficiency and power draw between the versions listed above. Use the compare checkboxes to put two to four models side by side.
