What the family covers
Bitmain publishes one D9 version, 240-D, for the X11 algorithm and the DASH coin. Its shop specification rates it at 1,770 GH/s and 2,839 W on the wall at 25 °C, which is 1.60 J/GH, with tolerances of 3% on hashrate and 5% on power. The machine carries 378 hash chips on three hash boards and connects over RJ45 Ethernet.
Power and environment
The D9 runs on 200–240 V AC through two input wires at 10 A each, 20 A in all. It weighs 16.1 kg net and is rated at 70 dBA with the fans at full speed. Bitmain gives an operating range of 0 to 40 °C and an altitude limit of 2,000 m; between 900 m and 2,000 m the highest operating temperature falls by 1 °C for every 300 m.
Versions
Bitmain's shop and support centre show no other D9 hashrate grade, power mode or cooling variant; the 240-D is the only D9 that Bitmain documents.
Choosing within the Antminer D9 generation
Models in one generation share a chip platform but differ in cooling type, hashrate and efficiency. Start with the cooling type your site supports, then compare efficiency and power draw between the versions listed above. Use the compare checkboxes to put two to four models side by side.
