What the family covers

Bitmain's AL1 specification table (version 10) covers one model for the Blake3 algorithm and the ALPH coin, in two sub-versions. The AL1 Std is rated at 15.6 TH/s on 3,510 W and the AL1 Pro at 16.6 TH/s on 3,730 W, both at 225 J/TH measured at 25 °C. Bitmain allows ±3% on hashrate and ±5% on efficiency.

Shared hardware

Both sub-versions take 220–277 V with a 20 A maximum input current and connect over RJ45 Ethernet. They measure 430 × 195 × 290 mm and weigh 16.5 kg net. Bitmain rates the noise at 75 dBA with the fans at full speed, the operating range at −20 to 40 °C and the altitude limit at 2,000 m.

How the versions differ

The Pro gives about 6% more hashrate than the Std (16.6 vs 15.6 TH/s) for about 6% more power (3,730 vs 3,510 W), so both use the same energy per terahash. The AL1 on Bitmain's shop is the Pro sub-version.

Choosing within the Antminer AL1 generation

Models in one generation share a chip platform but differ in cooling type, hashrate and efficiency. Start with the cooling type your site supports, then compare efficiency and power draw between the versions listed above. Use the compare checkboxes to put two to four models side by side.
